Plus, of course, you must make sure that there is plenty of land adjacent to the barn to allow you to maneuver vehicles in and around it easily.

It is vital that the property where the shed is to be constructed has good drainage so that no run off is able to gather up around it. Plus any water you have going into the barn should be diverted away from it. If you can build the barn on some property that is somewhat sloped, that would truly be beneficial to the barn. It is very important that you make sure that you look at which direction the wind blows towards where you are intending to build your barn. Not only will this ensure that the items within the barn are protected, it is going to reduce the amount of wind loads placed upon it.
